These solid bronze bricks, mark the five-year anniversary of London’s largest Bronze Age hoard found on prehistoric Thames-side marshland in Havering.
This Bronze Age hoard revealed the ancient status of London’s River Thames, where bronze artefacts were once buried as votive offerings to the river.
Sand cast in South East London by Steve Whitton’s foundry, Whitton Castings. Steve has been working in the foundry industry for over 40 years, establishing his own company in 1987, he employs Nathan who’s worked alongside him for over 12 years, learning the trade to continue this traditional craft for future generations in the capital.
The limited edition bricks are available on pre-order only from 14:00 on Thursday 24th August 2023. All bricks will be cast in September 2023 and dispatched the first week of October 2023.
